Puppet Master Mech

A colossal marionette forged from steel and spite, the Puppet-Looking Mecha towers three times higher and weighs twenty times more than any 0N1 fighter. Every joint, cable, and limb moves with an uncanny grace that betrays the unseen will directing it. The structure mimics a humanoid puppet, but its proportions are distorted—elongated arms branching into multiple forearms, each capable of wielding invisible threads that slice through air and will alike.

Puppet Master Mech is a mecha whose defining trait is the creation and control of energy threads generated by its user. These threads not only serve as the driving force behind its movements but also act as instruments of manipulation—each capable of controlling an individual simultaneously, granting the user absolute dominion.
The challenge of this project was to visually translate the essence of this concept. The client specified that the mecha should utilize energy threads to control people and have six arms, emphasizing its demonic puppeteer nature. Its user, Marion Dominia, is an Akuma demon who wields a staff equipped with spools that channel and direct the threads. To reflect this, the design features trunk articulations that mimic spools, with cables running across the body like energized tendons. At the fingertips, smaller spools provide maximum precision in the control of the threads and their victims.
Additionally, the Puppet Master Mech includes a facial mimicry system, capable of projecting illusory expressions — a perfect feature for deceiving and emotionally manipulating its targets.
This project integrates into the storytelling development of the Oni Force (Web3) universe, created by a community member, aiming to expand the mythology of the Akuma demons through new visual and conceptual interpretations.
